Race Summary |
|
JUDITHS WILD RUSH
rated just off the early pace in a tightly-knit field, closed three-deep late
turn, moved to the outside at the head of the stretch, responded smartly and
got up near the 70 yard pole and swept clear. MOBIL rated early, stalked
four-wide and was asked to close at the 1/4 pole, hung briefly upper stretch
then finished gamely. A BIT O'GOLD stalked the pace three-wide, launched his
bid at the top of the stretch but hung. I THEE WED close late backstretch and
bid inside CHRIS'S BAD BOY, dueled inside that one through the turn, sprinted
clear at the head of the stretch then faltered in the late stages. NORFOLK
KNIGHT pulled to contention early and forced the issue to the turn then began
to give way along the rail. ROYAL PLACE broke alertly and remained
contentious on the second path, chased on the turn then tired in the stretch.
CHRIS'S BAD BOY led quickly, set a reserved pace but was engaged by I THEE
WED leaving the backstretch, dueled through the turn and was headed then tired
in the final furlong. |
