Race Summary

ROCK HARD TEN a half step slow to begin, settled outside chasing the pace, split foes leaving the backstretch and moved up three deep to bid on the second turn, gained the advantage in upper stretch and held on gamely under urging. IMPERIALISM settled inside then a bit off the rail, moved up outside on the second turn, came four wide into the stretch, rallied alongside the winner past midstretch and continued willingly but could not get by. LOVE OF MONEY sped to the early lead, set the pace a bit off the while trying to get out a bit on the backstretch, met bids midway on the backstretch to kick clear again, fought back between horses on the second turn and into the stretch and inside the winner in midstretch, then could not match the top pair but bested the rest. GOOD REWARD washy at the gate, chased inside, came out on the second turn, waited momentarily a quarter mile out then swung three deep into the stretch and lacked the needed rally. CASTLEDALE (IRE) between horses early, chased just off the inside, split horses with a move forward leaving the backstretch, bid along the rail on the second turn and into the stretch but weakened. MY CREED chased off the rail then outside, went four wide leaving the backstretch, angled in some leaving the second turn and also weakened. WITH DISTINCTION four wide on the first turn, bid outside rivals on the backstretch then alongside the pacesetter, dropped back into and on the second turn and had little left for the stretch. HENDRIX saved ground stalking the pace, fell back on the second turn, came out into the stretch and gave way. DIAMOND FURY three deep on the first turn, bid between horses early on the backstretch then stalked outside a rival, dropped back into the second turn and also gave way.
