Race Summary

CASTLEDALE (IRE) broke alertly but was taken under tight restraint to settle off the pace and on the rail, remained inside into the second turn while advancing to serious contention, waited behind the leaders into the stretch then quickly split NIGHT PATROL and IMITATION at the furlong pole to gain command while still not being asked for his best, met ADREAMISBORN'S bid in the lane and held gamely. ADREAMISBORN was never too far back while being forced three wide to the backstretch, tracked the leaders throughout, commenced his bid three wide into the lane, got to terms with the winner leaving the furlong pole but could make no impact. ALY BUBBA settled early while racing just outside CASTLEDALE to the second turn, could not go with that rival in the upper stretch but finished steadily late and was up for the show. TERROPLANE (FR) was forced three wide on the first turn while taking back off the leaders, remained out on the second turn to enter the lane four wide then lacked the needed response. NIGHT PATROL set the pace from the inside to the furlong pole and slackened. IMITATION broke through the gate prior to start, then broke alertly and prompted the pace two wide into the stretch before faltering. NIGHT BOKBEL (IRE) lagged early from just off the rail, angled out for the drive but did not reach serious contention. PRIVATE CHEF took back early, saved ground throughout but failed to rally. GOLD RUCKUS was always outrun.
