Race Summary

ASHADO took control soon after the start, set the pace under pressure from BENDING STRINGS, put away that rival when roused in upper stretch, drew clear then was kept to the task to hold SOCIETY SELECTION safe in the final yards. SOCIETY SELECTION raced close up along the inside early, angled out and came wide nearing the stretch, responded when roused and finished gamely outside. BENDING STRINGS pressed the pace from the outside, could not stay with the winner in upper stretch and continued on stubbornly, losing the place prize in the final yards. DAYDREAMING raced close up early while between rivals, chased the leaders while three wide on the turn and tired in the stretch. BOARD ELLIGIBLE raced close up outside early, dropped back after the opening half mile, raced inside thereafter and tired.
