Race Summary |
|
LAVA MAN stalked three deep then outside a rival,
bid three wide then outside the pacesetter, took a short lead in upper
stretch and proved best under urging. SKUKUZA angled in on the first turn and
stalked inside, inched forward leaving the backstretch, came out into the
stretch and edged a rival for second. SMOOCHER angled in early and saved
ground chasing the pace, came out in midstretch and
was edged for the place. PERFECT MOON sped to the early lead,
set a pressured pace a bit off the rail, dueled inside on the second turn,
fought back into the stretch, could not match the winner and was outfinished late for a minor award. TOUCH THE WIRE
unhurried off the rail early, chased outside a rival on the backstretch and
second turn, came four wide into the stretch and did not rally. RUN AT NIGHT
stalked a bit off the rail then between foes, continued outside a rival on
the second turn, came out into the stretch and weakened. |
