Race Summary

QUE PUNTUAL (ARG) in touch early, checked in tight quarters between foes entering the turn, closed three-deep on the turn, challenged WITH PATIENCE a furlong out, took command and held under a drive. AMBITIOUS CAT raced off the pace between rivals, swung wide at the top of the stretch and rallied gamely. MONA ROSE, close early between horses, checked in tight quarters early turn, stalked to the stretch then rallied gamely. MY LORDSHIP raced prominently between foes then rallied determinedly in the stretch. WITH PATIENCE raced forwardly three-wide, took a short lead on the turn , was always under pressure and gave way grudgingly in the final furlong. NOBLE STELLA (GER), close early, checked in tight quarters entering the turn, moved to the rail quickly, saved ground then was all out in the stretch. CLASSIC STAMP, well back early, circled five-wide late turn but never reached contention. MY PAL LANA stalked from rail but lacked a rally. KABUL, rated early, swung five-wide for the run through the turn, closed a bit then flattened out in the stretch. SECRET HEART (SAF) was always prominent on the rail, held a short lead into the turn, was engaged in a duel, vied, then tired in the stretch. FASWIGA, always far off the pace, saved ground but lacked a closing response. OUT OF PRIDE broke alertly, raced in touch on the outside, came four-wide through the turn then tired upper stretch and faded quickly. A CLAIM OF FOUL BY THE RIDERS ON MONA ROSE AND NOBLE STELLA AGAINST QUE PUNTUAL FOR INTERFERENCE ENTERING THE TURN WAS DISALLOWED.
