Race Summary |
|
TESTY GUY , forwardly placed along the
inside and under rating, angled out leaving the far turn, circled four wide
into the stretch, drifted in a bit when rallying, collared YO CAN DO in mid
stretch, dueled then edged clear late under a drive. YO CAN DO sped to a
short early lead, was rated back off of QUICK PUNCH nearing the six and a
half furlong marker, angled out to prompt that one two wide, moved to a short
lead into the stretch, dueled from the furlong marker and gave way
grudgingly. ALL IRISH stalked the early pace while off the rail, dropped back
some leaving the far turn, came wide for the drive and finished willingly.
QUICK PUNCH moved up two wide to clear after a quarter mile, dropped to the
inside to set the pace, was joined by YO CAN DO three furlongs out, dueled
into the lane then weakened through the final furlong. ASPEN MOON , rated back
at the break, failed to menace. P DAY saved ground early, angled out around
the far turn but failed to respond. QUIET GRATITUDE , four wide early
stalking the pace, faltered. VERY CONCERNED dropped far back early and was
not abused. |
