Race Summary

SUPAH BLITZ saved ground on the first turn, shifted out early on the backstretch, was well placed behind the leaders, moved closer while four wide on the far turn, took over at the top of the stretch then edged clear and was all out to last in a blanket finish. CRYPTOGRAPH raced three wide on the first turn, was reserved at the back of the field, shifted four wide midway through the far turn, rallied six wide into the stretch and closed strongly in the middle of the track to just miss. ABSENT FRIEND was unhurried near the back of the field, rallied five wide leaving the far turn, closed strongly alongside CRYPTOGRAPH and also just missed. LION TAMER broke a length slow, advanced steadily while urged along, held a good striking position passing the quarter-pole, lacked room briefly leaving the far turn, rallied along the rail in upper stretch and closed well. HIGH STRIKE ZONE brushed with SNORTER at the start, tracked the pace while three wide on the first turn, moved up to press the leader on the backstretch, dropped back while three wide on the far turn, shifted to one off the rail passing the quarter-pole, steadied when YESSIRGENERALSIR drifted out near the furlong marker and faded. WISHINGITWAS was caught five wide on the first turn, settled on the outside, was urged along while between rivals on the far turn, came three wide into the stretch and failed to threaten. SNORTER brushed with HIGH STRIKE ZONE at the start, settled off the pace, was urged along while three wide and between rivals on the far turn, checked sharply near the quarter-pole then came up empty. MAJESTIC THIEF raced three wide on the first turn, settled inside on the backstretch, saved ground on the far turn and never reached contention. YESSIRGENERALSIR set the pace while off the rail, lost the lead leaving the far turn and tired. SKIP AND GO went four wide on the first turn, was urged along while off the pace, raced four wide on the second turn and faltered.
