Race Summary

KING OF HAPPINESS stalked the pace a bit off the rail, bid outside a foe leaving the backstretch, gained the advantage into the second turn, kicked clear and angled in nearing the quarter pole and held on gamely under urging. RED FORT (IRE) unhurried and angled in early, moved up outside a rival on the second turn, came three deep into the stretch, drifted in some in upper stretch and closed gamely to just miss. JUST WONDER (GB) chased outside a rival or a bit off the rail, was between horses into the stretch and bested the others. INESPERADO (FR) saved ground stalking the pace, came out on the second turn and three deep into the stretch and lacked the needed rally. FAIL ME NOT (ARG) chased outside a foe, angled in on the second turn, came out into the stretch and could not summon the necessary late response. MISTER ACPEN (CHI) sped to the early lead, set the pace inside, dueled inside the winner leaving the backstretch and until just past midway on the second turn and weakened.
