Race Summary

EDDINGTON rated off the pace, advanced three wide around the far turn to reach the leaders, gained command entering the stretch, then was put to pressure to draw clear. PIES PROSPECT tracked the pace, was outmoved by the winner on the far turn, angled out and closed to prove second best while unable to stay with the top one. ZAKOCITY quickly moved to the fore, set the pace under pressure along the rail to nearing the stretch, then tired. COLLATERAL DAMAGE outrun early, raced three wide on the far turn and passed tired rivals. CONTANTE (ARG) failed to menace. KENNEL UP pressed the pace outside ZAKOCITY to past the quarter pole and faltered. SEEK GOLD was through after six furlongs. CLASSIC ENDEAVOR tracked the pace into the far turn, faded and was eased in the final eighth.
