Race Summary

LEROIDESANIMAUX (BRZ) had good early speed and dueled inside, inched away in midstretch and held on gamely under urging. BUCKLAND MANOR angled in nearing the first turn, stalked inside, awaited room off heels leaving the second turn, was blocked along the rail through much of the drive, got out late and gained the place. SWEET RETURN (GB) between foes early, dueled outside the winner, fought back into the stretch and weakened some in the final furlong but held third. METEOR STORM (GB) angled in and saved ground off the pace, swung out three deep into the stretch and found his best stride late. MUSICAL CHIMES chased inside then a bit off the rail, found the fence again on the second turn, came out for room into the stretch, was boxed in between and behind rivals from midstretch to deep stretch, steadied in late stretch and could not recover. CAJUN BEAT chased outside a rival then inside on the backstretch, continued outside a foe on the second turn and three deep into the stretch and was outfinished. SINGLETARY between horses early, stalked outside a rival, also came three deep into the stretch and weakened. PELLEGRINO (BRZ) angled in and settled off the pace inside, came out in upper stretch and was not a threat. ROMEO PLUS (ARG) angled in and chased a bit off the rail then outside a foe, came out into the stretch and had little left.
