GRAND REWARD forced the pace outside a rival, inched away leaving the second turn, held on well until past midstretch but weakened some late. LUNDY'S LIABILITY (BRZ) close up stalking the pace along the inside to the stretch, lacked the needed late kick. SAINT LIAM well placed stalking the pace four wide early then outside, bid three deep leaving the second turn but could not sustain the bid in the stretch. IMPERIALISM unhurried a bit off the rail then outside a rival, split horses on the second turn, swung five wide into the stretch and lacked the needed rally. CALIFORNIAN (GB) off a bit slowly, trailed inside then a bit off the rail, came out in the stretch and passed tiring rivals. ISLAND FASHION angled in and saved ground off the pace, came out into the stretch and did not rally.
