Race Summary

MCCANN'S MOJAVE had good early speed and dueled between horses then outside the runner-up, gained the advantage into the stretch, drifted in a bit past midstretch but proved best under some urging and good handling. CONGRATS dueled along the inside on the backstretch and turn, fought back in the drive, could not quite match the winner late but was clearly second best. ST AVERIL chased outside then alongside a rival, split horses leaving the backstretch and again leaving the turn and picked up the show. RUSHIN' TO ALTAR unhurried off the rail on the backstretch, angled in some approaching the turn, came out and advanced outside, went five wide a quarter mile out and four wide into the stretch and could not summon the necessary response in the drive. HASTY KRIS bobbled at the start, prompted the early pace three deep then stalked outside a rival, came three wide into the stretch and weakened. ZANZIBAR (ARG) angled in early and stalked inside and weakened in the stretch. COMMANDER'S FLAG angled in and saved ground off the pace, came out into the stretch and did not rally. MY COUSIN MATT chased outside then three deep, came out a bit leaving the turn, was in a bit tight off heels three wide into the stretch and weakened.
