Race Summary

OSIDY pulled his way between horses then chased outside a rival or a bit off the rail, continued inside on the second turn, came out leaving that bend and three deep into the stretch and closed gamely under steady urging to get up. WILLOW O WISP stalked a bit off the rail then outside a rival on the second turn, also came three deep into the stretch, rallied gamely to take a short lead between horses in deep stretch but could not quite hold off the winner. EASTERN SAND chased inside, moved up along the rail into and on the second turn, came out into the stretch, was in a bit tight off heels in deep stretch, came out again and edged a rival for third. MOTH BALL (GB) four wide into the first turn, advanced three deep between foes on the backstretch, bid outside the pacesetter on the second turn, gained the advantage into the stretch, fought back past midstretch and was edged for the show. TEXCESS sped to the early lead, set the pace inside, fought back along the rail on the backstretch and second turn and until midstretch and weakened in the final furlong. SUNNY SKY (FR) settled inside then a bit off the rail, came out leaving the second turn and three deep into the stretch and lacked the needed rally. TALKING TO JOHN angled in early and saved ground off the pace and did not rally. CLAYMONT chased outside, advanced four wide on the backstretch, dropped back and angled in some on the second turn and weakened.
