Race Summary

PALLADIO closed on the backstretch, bid three-wide into the final turn, vied to the final furlong and drove clear. ABLO stalked the pace, bid between horses entering the turn, dueled to the 1/8 pole and yielded. COMMANDER PAT vied outside STEPHEN'S GIFT, shook clear on the backstretch and drew off, was engaged at the far turn, dueled then yielded grudgingly at the 1/4 pole and was through. ONE SMOOTH RIDE raced from off the pace while three wide, was hustled on the far turn but never reached contention. STEPHEN'S GIFT dueled from the rail, yielded entering the backstretch, stalked the leader but faded on the turn. PAPA'S PRIZE saved ground but trailed through the far turn and stretch.
