By subscription of $100 each which shall accompany the nomination, $1,000 to pass the entry box and an additional $1,000 to start - with $100,000 guaranteed. The Owner of the winner to receive $60,000, $20,000 to second, $11,000 to third, $6,000 to fourth and $3,000 to fifth. Weight: 122 lbs. Non-winners of $50,000 at a mile or over allowed 3 lbs.; $35,000 at a mile or over, 5 lbs.; $25,000 in 2005 or $20,000 at a mile or over, 7 lbs. Race Summary

HAL'S IMAGE prompted the pace outside FAVRE, moved to take over from that rival midway of the far turn, then drew away under pressure. TALENTED PRINCE outrun early, swung out for the stretch run and closed with a mild rally to be up for the place while drifting in late. CAPTAIN LINDSAY tracked the pace along the inside, was outmoved on the far turn, angled out for the drive and closed to gain the show while drifting in late. UNITED chased the pace to nearing the stretch, then gave way and was steadied in behind CAPTAIN LINDSAY nearing the finish. GLOBAL TRADER in good position, tired leaving the far turn. FAVRE set the pace along the inside to midway of the far turn, then faltered in the drive. GINGER'S FELLA was no factor after breaking awkwardly. MAGIC SPEED failed to menace. DUSTY MINISTER was outrun. BIRD OF PARADISE well placed early, faded and was eased in the final eighth. The rider of UNITED lodged an objection against the rider of CAPTAIN LINDSAY for alleged interference in deep stretch. The claim of foul was not allowed.
