Race Summary

LOST IN THE FOG away alertly, was taken in hand to stalk MORE SMOKE, rallied to gain command from that rival entering the stretch and drew away under urging. AROUND THE CAPE chased the pace along the inside, eased out for the stretch run and wore down MORE SMOKE to be up for the place while no match for the winner. MORE SMOKE hustled away from that gate to gain the lead, set the pace along the inside to the top of the stretch, then couldn't stay with the winner and was outfinished for the place. SANTANA STRINGS reserved in striking position off the pace, had no response when asked. PORT TOWN was not a factor. UP LIKE THUNDER outrun early, raced four wide on the turn and failed to menace. UNITED rated off the pace, raced three wide on the turn and tired. EVIL MINISTER was outrun while racing three wide. WHAT'S UP DUDE saved ground and faltered. STRAIGHT LINE showed some early foot, faded and was eased in the final eighth.
