Race Summary

LETGOMYECHO rated off the pace, swung out for the stretch run, rallied to gain a slim lead inside the eighth pole and was fully extended to turn back LITTLE MONEY DOWN. The latter, chased the pace four wide, angled to the rail past midway of the turn, made a run to reach near even terms for command at the eighth pole and continued on gamely while being edged to the wire. HOT STORM vied for the lead three wide to the eighth pole and weakened. BIRD HARBOR vied for the lead between horses to nearing the stretch and tired. MADDALENA vied for the lead along the inside, came off the rail for the stretch run while continuing to duel for the lead to the eighth pole, then faltered. DIXIE GEMSTONE saved ground to no avail. LEONA'S KNIGHT was outrun after bobbling at the start.
