STAKES FUND to be divided $20,000 to the first placing Florida bred, $10,000 to the second placing Florida Bred, $6,000 to the third placing Florida Bred and $4,000 to the fourth placing Florida Bred.) The Owner of the winner to receive $21,000, $7,000 to second, $3,850 to third, $2,100 to fourth and $1,050 to fifth. Weight: 122 lbs. Race Summary

DREAM ON DREAM ON opened a clear advantage before going a half, extended his lead on the turn, opened a wide gap in upper stretch and was never threatened while being kept to the task. MAGIC SPEED tucked in along the rail on the first turn, was unhurried for a half while saving ground, took up chased after the winner on the turn, improved his position in upper stretch then finished strongly while drifting out through the final eighth. TALENTED PRINCE raced far back for seven furlongs, advanced wide leaving the turn then rallied belatedly from outside. LORD ROBYN chased the winner in the two path throughout and weakened. STARSHIP ZIM was outrun while five wide to the turn and failed to threaten while improving his position. TURK'S RANSOM failed to threaten while racing wide. RUNNING SURPRISE unhurried for a half, rallied mildly on the turn and flattened out. CAPTAIN LINDSAY raced evenly while saving ground. FAVRE raced up close in the two path for six furlongs and faded. SAND MAN raced in the middle of the pack while three wide and tired. NICANDRO was used up trying to keep the early pace.
