Race Summary

GOING WILD had good early speed outside a rival, angled in and set the pace inside, met bids on the backstretch and inched clear again, came a bit off the rail in the stretch and held on gamely under urging. PAPI CHULLO bobbled at the start, stalked the pace inside, bid along the rail in the stretch and continued willingly for the place. GIACOMO four wide on the first turn and in a bit tight midway on that turn, bid four across the track on the backstretch, continued to stalk the winner three deep into and on the second turn and into the stretch and held third. UNCLE DENNY had speed inside then lugged out and steadied into the first turn, bid between horses on the backstretch, stalked between foes into and on the second turn and in the stretch and could not summon the necessary late response. CHEKHOV off a bit slowly, settled off the pace just out from the inside, came out some in the stretch and had a mild bid. SALTY HUMOR chased a bit off the rail then inside on the second turn and lacked the needed rally. SOUTHERN AFRICA in a bit tight between horses on the first turn, chased between foes, came three deep into the stretch and did not rally. CADILLAC CRUISER also in a bit tight between foes on the first turn, stalked three deep, came four wide into the stretch and weakened. DEVIL'S BAY five wide into the first turn, was forced out a bid midway on that turn, chased outside, dropped back leaving the backstretch and gave way.
