Race Summary

FUSAICHI ROCK STAR went up inside to duel for the lead, kicked clear on the backstretch, continued inside on the turn and a bit off the rail in the stretch and held on gamely under some left handed urging and good handling. DON'T GET MAD unhurried off the rail early, angled in leaving the backstretch, moved up some inside leaving the turn and closed with a rush along the fence late. KIRKENDAHL had speed between horses then dueled outside the winner, stalked off the rail on the backstretch and turn, bid again outside the winner in the stretch but could not match that one and lost second late. CONSOLIDATOR bobbled slightly at the start, had speed outside foes then stalked off the rail, went outside a foe into the turn and three deep into the stretch and lacked the needed response in the drive.
