Race Summary

BUZZARDS BAY forced the pace three deep, put a head in front on the backstretch, battled between horses leaving the second turn and in the stretch and held on gamely under urging. GENERAL JOHN B vied for command between horses then inside on the second turn, fought back through the stretch and continued gamely to the wire. WILKO stalked the pace four wide, inched forward into the second turn, bid three deep into and through the stretch and also went on gamely to the end. GIACOMO chased inside then came off the rail on the backstretch, went up outside foes on the second turn and four wide into the stretch and bested the rest. SWEET CATOMINE stalked the dueling leaders inside, was bumped leaving the backstretch, waited a bit just off the rail leaving the second turn and lacked the needed response in the stretch. DON'T GET MAD unhurried inside early, came out on the second turn and three deep into the stretch and could not summon the necessary response. GO COYOTE JOE off as bit slowly, settled just off the rail then outside a rival, came four wide into the stretch and improved position. WANNAWINEMALL pulled his way along three deep then chased off the rail, came three wide into the stretch and did not rally. A. P. ARROW stalked the pace three deep between horses, was bumped leaving the backstretch, angled in off the rail on the second turn and weakened. ALLRIGHT pulled his way between horses to stalk the pace, was bumped leaving the backstretch, dropped back on the second turn and also weakened. CUSTOMER hopped a bit at the start, angled in and dueled inside, dropped back on the second turn and gave way.
