Race Summary

SCIPION brushed with REAL DANDY just after the break, was restrained quickly, raced off the rail down the backstretch, got asked for run after entering the second turn, circled foes six wide for the drive, rallied determinedly and was along in time. REAL DANDY brushed with SCIPION after the break, was angled to the rail going to the first turn, moved up around the second turn, eased out for the drive, tried hard but was outfinished. STORM SURGE close up early, settled just behind the leaders, eased out a bit around the second turn, bid three wide inside the furlong marker but did not have enough late. ELECTRIC LIGHT set the pace until the second turn, was headed and gave way grudgingly. ICED OUT between foes early, dropped back around the second turn, swung out for the drive, rallied wide and closed mildly. HARLINGTON raced five wide to the drive, drifted in inside the final furlong and was no real threat. SILENT BID prompted the pace, gained the edge around the second turn and faltered once headed. RUSH BAY showed little. SMOOTH BID saved ground too no avail. BUZZARDS BAY raced four wide to the drive and then faded. BOLD LION showed early speed and then retreated.
