Race Summary

ORATORY broke running, flashed good speed from the outside while well in hand, let REVERBERATE set the pace for the opening three quarters, took charge when asked off the turn, drew clear and widened while being shown the whip from the right side in the stretch. REVERBERATE came away in good order, moved up on the rail to set the pace, could not stay with the winner turning for home, angled out in upper stretch and continued on to be easily best of the others. GOLDEN MAN raced close up inside, chased the pace around the turn and had no response when roused. CHEKHOV was bumped after the start, was urged along outside, put in a four wide run on the turn and had nothing left for the stretch drive. ROBADOR bobbled at the start, was outrun early, raced inside, split rivals on the turn and lacked a rally. SIR GREELEY broke slowly, was pinched back after the start, chased the pace while three wide and tired in the stretch. GORBASH was hustled along outside, raced three wide and tired in the stretch. MR SWORD was bumped after the start, raced inside and was finished early.
