Race Summary

PORTSEA was allowed to settle in four wide near the middle of the field, moved up on the turn, engaged MEGASCAPE in the stretch while trading bumps with that rival and drew off late. MEGASCAPE broke in good order, set a pressured pace from the inside and resisted the winner while trading a bump with her but was not good enough. ANGEL TRUMPET went up outside MEGASCAPE to press the pace from the outside then was no match for the top two in the final furlong. IM A DIXIE GIRL was void of speed from off the rail then could only improve her position in the drive. GALACTIC CAT was void of speed while off the rail and failed to reach contention. MAMONIA GOLD raced in good position three wide but gave way in the drive. STRAIGHT BID was unprepared for the start and was always outrun. PARISPARIS saved ground near the middle of the field but tired in the stretch. THE RIDER OF MEGASCAPE LODGED A CLAIM OF FOUL AGAINST PORTESA ALLENGING INTERFERENCE IN THE STRETCH BUT IT WAS RULED MUTUAL.
