Race Summary

COIN SILVER broke out at the start bumping the side of the gate, continued out into STORM SURGE, was in turn bumped by that rival and forced in, quickly settled behind the dueling leaders three wide, edged closer between foes three wide entering the far turn, briefly lacked room approaching the five-sixteenths pole, came out four wide approaching the stretch, took over and quickly kicked clear, maneuvered near the inside, was roused twice on the right side and continued under hand urging to increase his advantage. SORT IT OUT, reserved early and angled near the inside, eased out five wide on the backstretch, moved with the winner while just outside that one four abreast approaching the stretch, loomed menacingly but couldn't match strides in the drive as second best. STORM SURGE, bumped by the winner after the start, leaned in soon after bumping with COIN SILVER, was placed in behind the dueling leaders on the first turn, eased out four wide on the backstretch, reached the front right at the five-sixteenths pole, then weakened when straightened for the drive. FOREVER WILD swerved in and out a bit entering the first turn while outside rivals, continued six or seven wide on the backstretch, angled in three wide on the second turn, raced five wide into the stretch and was empty in the drive. GOING WILD went up early to vie for the lead outside of ACTXECUTIVE, reached the front leaving the backstretch, held on well until approaching the stretch and faltered. ROCKPORT HARBOR, four or five wide from the outset, raced within easy striking distance, was asked for more leaving the backstretch but flattened out approaching the stretch. ACTXECUTIVE gained a slight edge near the inside early while dueling with GOING WILD, continued forwardly to the end of the backstretch and gradually weakened.
