Race Summary |
|
CALL THE LORD vied for the lead off the inside,
shook off CARNIVAL SHOW in upper stretch to open a clear lead and stayed
clear under steady urging. EYEFORGLORY within striking distance near the
rail, moved closer on the turn, angled outside the winner with less than a
furlong to go but hung. CARNIVAL SHOW forced the pace three wide, could not
keep pace with the winner in upper stretch, was carried out by EVEFORGLORY
when that one angled out inside the final furlong then weakened. DEPARTING
NOW behind the leaders off the inside, moved out four wide late on the turn,
was carried out inside the final furlong and also weakened. SOUTHSIDE JOHNNY
B outrun early, saved ground on the turn and made a
good late move. SUMMER MAN within striking distance, raced five wide on the
turn and gave way. YANKEE TREATY within striking distance,
was six wide on the turn and faded. DEVILISH SEFA was outrun. |
