Race Summary |
|
SURVIVALIST was outrun early, rallied five wide
approaching the stretch, dug in resolutely outside and prevailed after a
furious drive. PAVO raced close up outside, rallied four wide despite his
rider losing his irons after the saddle slipped into the turn, dug in grimly
between rivals, brushed with GALLOPING GROCER in deep stretch as was game to
the wire while having his rider inadvertently strike NAUGHTY NEW YORKER with
his whip in the final yards. GALLOPING GROCER raced close up early, rallied
three wide and dug in gamely while brushing with the second place finisher in
deep stretch. NAUGHTY NEW YORKER was bumped at the start, was outrun early,
rallied four wide, dug in between rivals and was struck by a rival |
