Race Summary |
|
MALIBU MOONSHINE raced
under stout rating along the rail around the first turn, continued close up
under rating down the backstretch, was pushed along leaving the three eighths
pole, swung out four wide for the drive, responded to strong left handed
encouragement, drew on even terms a sixteenth out then outfinished HELLO
JERRY. HELLO JERRY cleared early, set a slow pace in the two path, swerved out in mid stretch, was collared soon after
and continued gamely inside of the winner. BYANOSEJOE ,
forwardly placed, lost ground four wide to the quarter pole, shifted in
leaving the furlong pole when HELLO JERRY swerved outward then came up empty.
WATCHMON , steadied along into the backstretch,
raced well within range while off the rail, swung out five wide entering the
lane and finished with interest. SUPER EIGHT TRACK lost ground five wide past
the half mile marker, chased the pace around the final turn and gave way.
LEGAL CONTROL stalked the pace three wide between rivals and dropped back
leaving the far turn. |
