Race Summary

DIXIE TALKING was outrun early, advanced outside on the turn, rallied four wide into the stretch, reached the front leaving the eighth pole and was clear under the wire. ACEY DEUCEY raced in hand outside early on, rallied three wide on the turn and dug in gamely to the finish. ALFONSINA was bumped at the start, contested the pace while three wide, rallied to earn a short lead in upper stretch and tired in the final furlong. PELHAM BAY raced in hand along the inside early, came wide into the stretch and offered a mild rally outside. TAKE A CHECK was bumped at the start, contested the pace while between rivals and tired in the stretch. SALUTE was bumped at the start, raced close up along the inside, chased the pace and tired in the stretch. MEGASCAPE contested the pace along the inside and gave way in the final furlong. MACKENZIE NICOLE raced inside, tired badly and was eased in the stretch.
