Race Summary

DANCE AWAY CAPOTE angled in early when outsprinted, advanced off the inside after a half, drifted four wide after being angled out a bit with three furlongs to go, made a bold move on the outside approaching the stretch, caught the leader with a furlong to go and drew off under steady urging. GALLANT SECRET four wide early when outrun, angled in midway through the first turn, advanced inside on the second turn, angled out approaching the stretch and finished willingly to be up for the place. AMAZING BUY closest to the pace off the inside, challenged after a half, gained a short lead on the second turn, held on well into the final furlong and weakened. SWEET TALKER reserved early off the inside, angled out on the backstretch, was carried five wide by the winner with three furlongs to go when making a mild gain then lacked the needed closing bid. BRETT'S FAVRETTE three wide on the first turn when forwardly placed, stayed on well to the stretch and tired. EASILY outrun early five wide, stayed in that path into the second turn and was no threat. SMART VOYAGER far back early, angled out entering the stretch but could not menace. LADY DYNASTY sprinted clear, set the pace for a half, held on well to the stretch and faded. SHADOW DANCE four wide on the first turn, was no factor. FLYING GLITTER close up along the inside, faded in the final three furlongs. TOUCH OF SPLENDOR within striking distance three wide, raced four wide with three furlongs to go and stopped.
