Race Summary |
|
HIGH STANDARDS broke in a bit, stalked the pace off the rail then outside a rival on the turn, bid alongside the pacesetter in the stretch, gained the lead past the eighth pole and pulled clear under left handed urging. TALKING TO JOHN settled a bit off the rail, moved up some inside leaving the turn, swung three deep into the stretch and just got the place. RUN THRUTHE SUN sped to the early lead a bit off the rail, dueled outside a rival, inched away and angled in on the turn, fought back inside in midstretch, could not match the winner and just lost second. THE PHEASANT FLYER (GB) was off a bit slowly and steadied, settled off the rail then outside the runner-up on the turn, came four wide into the stretch and made up some ground but was not a threat. HESABULLY bobbled at the start but recovered quickly and stalked off the rail, came out some into the stretch, then drifted in and weakened. CHANDTRUE was in a good position stalking the pace outside on the backstretch, dropped back and angled in some on the turn and weakened. BUSHWACKER went up insider to duel for the lead, stalked along the rail on the turn, then gave way and was eased in the final furlong. |
