Race Summary |
|
SIS CITY, in front inside after the start, surrendered the advantage to AMAZING BUY entering the first turn, eased outside that one to press the issue in hand four wide, took over when ready entering the far turn, settled into the stretch with a clear lead, then drew off as much the best under intermittent left-handed urging. RUNWAY MODEL came out at the start bumping SUMMERLY, settled inside, advanced near the rail on the backstretch and far turn, eased out between foes three or four wide, was just off the winner while outside that one in the drive and couldn't challenge as second best. MEMORETTE, unhurried early and four or five wide most of the way, made a mild run to reach a contending position entering the upper stretch and lacked a further account. SUMMERLY, bumped after the start by RUNWAY MODEL, raced near the inside around the first turn, eased out three or four wide on the backstretch, lost position and fell back last approaching the stretch, came out five or six wide and passed tired foes. LETGOMYECHO came out bumping MEMORETTE after breaking a bit sluggishly, recovered to gain a striking position four wide, was asked for her best three furlongs out and weakened. AMAZING BUY, a bit eager early when pulling the rider to the lead, raced two or three wide, lost the advantage to the winner entering the far turn and weakened thereafter. |
